Well, there is nothing very good about this evening.
The government had planned to establish a 10-billion baht fund to help the tourism industry, desperately struggling against the PAD-disaster. However, now that the junta’s judges have dissolved the People’s Power Party and two leading coalition partners, it is not clear what will happen to government policies. An interim PM has been appointed but it is likely that parliament will have to be dissolved altogether and yet more elections held (then the whole cycle will begin again).

It is now estimated that 350,000 foreign and Thai visitors are stranded by the ongoing illegal occupation of the airports by the PAD thugs. The number of course is increasing daily. The government anticipates that around one million jobs will be lost because of the PAD Disaster. One wonders whether the highly-placed celebrity-sponsors supporting the PAD thugs ever think about the damage they are doing to honest peoples’ lives. No, didn’t think so.
