Police are preparing terrorism charges against the ringleaders of the fascist PAD cult who seized the two airports and Government House and who are linked with the murders committed by PAD members, assaults, attempted murders, thefts, highjackings, kidnappings and numerous other crimes committed during the reign of terror they inflicted on
Police have managed to recapture three of the 63 teenage remand prisoners who fled follow a mass riot a few days ago in Nakhon Ratchasima. Several buildings were burnt and may have to be demolished following the riot, which seems to have been brought about by unhappiness among prisoners after restrictions on visits and food – there is talk of sticky rice being used to make alcohol.
Acting Commerce Minister Suchart Thada-Thamrongvetch has expressed fears that the economic situation will worsen next year, which we already knew of course. The problems are intensified by the inability of government agencies to act or set policies because the rightist Democrat Party and some influential and deep-pocketed sponsors have been buying the allegiance of government coalition MPs at, so people are saying, an average cost of 40 million baht apiece (the cost for some of those MPs is that they cannot return to their homes for fear of attack by outraged constituents at this disgraceful turncoat behaviour). It is not clear whether the Democrats will be able to put together a puppet coalition – there may or may not be a vote on Friday to determine who the next PM should be.
