This comes in the wake of the Vang Pao trial in America, where he is accused of attempting to mount an armed coup against the Lao government. The plot was revealed when the supposed arms dealer who was going to supply all the hardware turned out to be an undercover federal agent.

Thailand went down to the Netherlands at the Rajamangala last night 3-1 (http://www.nationmultimedia.com/2007/06/07/sport/sport_30036233.php). Goals from Rafael van der Vaart, Johnny Heitinga and Jan Hesselink of Vennegoor put the Dutch three up before a late free kick from Tawan Sripan gave the crowd something t oshout about.
